AsemconnectVietnam – Vietnam earned US$ 408.31 million from export of goods to Sweden in the first five months of this year, up by 7.15 per cent over the same period last year, according to the statistics figures.

Cell phones and accessories were leading in the list of items exported by the country to Sweden in the first 5 months with the export turnover of $ 235.64 million, up by 12.13 per cent over the same period last year and accounted for 60 per cent of the total.

It was followed by computers, electronic products and components with $ 39.9 million, up by 17.31 per cent year – on – year; and textiles and garments with $ 25.34 million, down by 13.71 per cent.

In the first five months of this year, the country’s export of footwear of all kinds to Sweden increased by 14.95 per cent year – on – year; that of seafood – up by 10.06 per cent; toys, sport equipment and accessories – up by 51.23 per cent; bamboo, rattan, sedge and carpet products – up by 24.72 per cent.

However, the export of wood and furniture to Sweden decreased by 10.31 per cent; that of handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas – down by 13.18 per cent; iron and steel of all kinds – down by 7.51 per cent; and rubber – down by 35.45 per cent.
